What are the benefits?
Nurturing Connections: Discover the power of community at our village prenatals. From sharing hopes and fears about childbirth to fostering authentic connections, our gatherings provide a space for support and understanding.
Embrace the Journey: At our village prenatals, we invite you to embrace every moment of your pregnancy journey. Here, we celebrate the unique experience of each mother-to-be and offer a supportive environment to explore the depths of your emotions and intuition.
Enhanced Bonding: Learn to connect with your baby on a deeper level by practicing techniques such as using a doppler or fetoscope to listen to your baby's heartbeat and feeling your baby's position. Through these practices, mothers can strengthen the bond between mind, body, and spirit, enhancing their overall pregnancy experience.
Mindful Discussions: Each village prenatal session features a thoughtfully curated topic for discussion, ranging from mindful birthing practices to embracing motherhood with confidence. Through open dialogue and shared experiences, we explore diverse perspectives and empower one another on this transformative journey.
Nourishing Environment: Indulge in nourishing food and meaningful conversation at our village prenatals. From delicious snacks to soulful meals, we believe that sharing a meal together strengthens our bonds and nourishes our spirits.
-
No, our village prenatals are not a substitute for medical prenatal care. While we offer valuable insights and support for expectant mothers, it's important to continue regular check-ups with your midwife or doctor to ensure your and your baby's health and well-being.
-
While we encourage open dialogue and support among participants, our gatherings are not intended for discussing or seeking medical advice. If you have any concerns about your pregnancy or health, we recommend consulting with your midwife or doctor for personalized guidance and care. Our sessions are designed to provide educational and emotional support in a non-medical setting.
-
Each session covers a different pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood topics. Examples include mindful birthing practices, breastfeeding support, self-care during pregnancy, and more.
-
In some cases, we may have childcare available depending on the availability of volunteers. However, we cannot guarantee childcare at every session. Rest assured, there will always be a designated area for children to play and explore under parental supervision. We encourage parents to bring along their little ones and create a welcoming space for families to participate together in our gatherings.
